What the hell is Death by Water Pistol?

Death by Water Pistol is a short action comedy film co-written by Grant Taylor and Nathan Bryon. It's about a young carer called Marvin who juggles looking after his disabled mother, Barbara with taking part in the assasins league, a knock out shoot em up competition where you 'kill' with water pistols. Desperate to win the golden water pistol Marvin progresses through the competition. But when his caring responsibilites suffer he needs to work with Barbara to win their league and save their relationship.
Do people actually die?

Are you crazy? No. There are inverted commas around the work 'kill'. Basically in the assasins league participants get given a target which they have to take out you need to watch your back because they need to take you out too. This can happen at any point in your day to day life. You can be buying some tea bags from the local tesco metro and BAM you've got a waterpistol pressed against you head at the checkout.
Why are you making this?

Great question. We love telling stories and this one has it all. Action, comedy and heart. Filmmaking and telling stories is our passion. We like to entertain through postive and fun filmmaking. The absolute intention is to make you laugh, cry and want to buy a waterpistol and get involved. The other thing we wanted to do is showcase the everyday heros, the disabled and their carers. Having experience ourselves with disabled parents telling this story is well and truly close to our hearts.

Do you sell the golden waterpistol?

Yes we do. What we do is this,, we buy a waterpistol online, spray it gold and post it to you with a hefty mark up. This is merch and how filmmakers like us can make our money back. Who wouldnt want a golden water pistol?
What is the assasins league?

We made this up for the film but its a knock out competition. You are given a target and have to take them out before they take you out. Still with us? You do this with a waterpistol. The first to wet the other progresses until you get to the final head to head. The winner takes all, mostly respect and the golden water pistol.
Are there rules?

Of course there are: Rule 1 - Thou shall is assigned a target Rule 2 - Thou will be a target and can be 'killed'* at any time Rule 3 - Thou can 'kill'* with water anywhere on the body... Yes even the groin. *Please note, you don't actually kill people. Real guns are not allowed. Water Pistols only
